HIIT – High Intensity Interval Training
Cardio Fitness training method based on an advanced form of interval training that involves alternating periods of short, intense anaerobic exercise with periods of active recovery.
Due to the high intensities, one hour of HIIT training is equivalent to nearly 5 hours of a traditional cardio workout.
Studies show that HIIT training can increase the resting metabolic rate for the 24 hours following the training session, which is perfect for those who have the goal of losing weight.
HIIT is suitable for those who do not have much time to exercise during the day: with just 1 hour 2 times a week can equally succeed in having the same training effects.
